My last post mentioned that our flight was delayed; which remained true and when we finally arrived in Dusseldorf our original connecting flight was long gone. There was good news though - they had manged to find us two seats on another flight routed through Munich leaving, oh let's see, 1/2 hour after we arrived which made it SLIGHTLY TIGHT to make it through passport check, out to ticketing, get new tickets, have to go through security again and lose all the liquid we had (bummer since there went breakfast), then race to the gate just before they loaded. The flight was fairly uneventful except one of my seatmates ordered a tomato juice then promptly knocked it over - it looked like a murder scene for a horror movie (and a friend (who shall remain nameless) said I couldn't possibly need my Tide pen!). Our connecting flight was even tighter but fortunately vans were waiting outside on the tarmac when we arrived to whisk us off to the final leg of our trip to Budapest. Which was a good thing too as our flight was late and we arrived about the time we should have been boarding the plane.
